Hello lovely people in blog world and thank you for all your lovely comments. It's always so good when I turn on my mail and see someone has read my little post and stopped to comment, it never gets old!
Today I'd like to introduce you to my new felted friends, Dexter and Daisy
Here's a picture of Dexter. Hmmm, not quite sure what breed he is.
They're very good friends though
It's nice to have someone to get into mischief with
I'm planning to make them a little collar each, perhaps a tiny bow for Daisy.
I really enjoyed making them and hope to make some more perhaps in different shades of wool. They stand about 5 inches high so are the biggest items I've made so far.
I have a few things on the go at the moment, it's nice to have a choice of crafting projects to choose from. Just have to be careful not to have too many things on the go so that it moves from being a choice to becoming overwhelming!
Take care

They're adorable Cheryl. From the little thumbnail photo on my phone I thought they were real at first! X
ReplyDeleteDexter and Daisy are adorable! You are so crafty.
ReplyDeleteHow talented you are! In that first photo I thought they were real. Cute
ReplyDeleteCheryl, these are adorable! I can't believe you made them! Well, yes, you are very talented ... I could never make anything like that. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love them, so adorable, great work with the needle felting :-)
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable, I have never tried felting but seeing these maybe I should.
ReplyDeleteOh how gorgeous....I love them.
ReplyDeleteNeedle felting is something I really would like to have a go at-x-
You are so talented, they are so good xx
ReplyDeleteThey are really sweet. I have only tried making a rabbit and an owl with needle felting and neither were very good (the rabbit's ears were too long and he looked like a donkey and the owl looked rather like a brown penguin!). I have plans to make a chicken and would like to work up to a hare, but that may be a little ambitious for now...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you make next.
Best wishes
Ellie
They are so cute. I love needle felting, it's quite therapeutic x
ReplyDeleteThey are simply gorgeous and quite adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love their names too ...
All the best Jan
They are both so cute, i've never tried needle felting but i just know that i probably wouldn't be very good at it, lol
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute, and you made them. Wow, great job.
ReplyDeleteDexter & Daisy are just absolutely gorgeous Cheryl. Well done You :-) When I saw your first photo I thought to myself .... Oh Cheryl has two new dogs !!!! Thinking they were real :-) We used to have a border collie dog that looked like Dexter but instead of brown, he was black /white.
ReplyDeleteOh my, your Dexter and Daisy are adorable! How very clever you are, Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, well done! Xx
ReplyDeleteDexter and Daisy are cute! You are so clever with your felting needles. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the mischiefs these two get up to.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend with your family! x
They are totally adorable!!! I love them!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute! I've had a needle felting kit in my stash for ages and really should hunt it out. x
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! These are THE CUTEST things in the world!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat needlefelting dogs, you did a good job on them.
ReplyDeleteI have a kit for blue tits but need to find time to have a go at it.
What fun makes! I haven't given needle felting another go since the disaster of the hedgehog I was trying to make. I gave up. Maybe I will try again but for now I'm trying to concentrate on what I already have to do. Cleaning out my craft room I found too many projects that need to be done and this is the year I intend to get some done!
ReplyDeleteAwww, they're both so cute. I think they have a bit of a look of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel like my Archie. I'm really enjoying seeing what you're creating with needle felting, you're very talented at it.
ReplyDeleteWhat little characters they are. I love the colouring of Dexter!
