Woof, Woof meet Dexter and Daisy

Hello lovely people in blog world and thank you for all your lovely comments. It's always so good when I turn on my mail and see someone has read my little post and stopped to comment, it never gets old!

Today I'd like to introduce you to my new felted friends, Dexter and Daisy

Here's a picture of Dexter. Hmmm, not quite sure what breed he is.

They're very good friends though

It's nice to have someone to get into mischief with

I'm planning to make them a little collar each, perhaps a tiny bow for Daisy.

I really enjoyed making them and hope to make some more perhaps in different shades of wool. They stand about 5 inches high so are the biggest items I've made so far.

I have a few things on the go at the moment, it's nice to have a choice of crafting projects to choose from. Just have to be careful not to have too many things on the go so that it moves from being a choice to becoming overwhelming!

Take care
xxx

  9. They are really sweet. I have only tried making a rabbit and an owl with needle felting and neither were very good (the rabbit's ears were too long and he looked like a donkey and the owl looked rather like a brown penguin!). I have plans to make a chicken and would like to work up to a hare, but that may be a little ambitious for now...
Looking forward to seeing what you make next.
    Best wishes

  21. What fun makes! I haven't given needle felting another go since the disaster of the hedgehog I was trying to make. I gave up. Maybe I will try again but for now I'm trying to concentrate on what I already have to do. Cleaning out my craft room I found too many projects that need to be done and this is the year I intend to get some done!

  22. Awww, they're both so cute. I think they have a bit of a look of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel like my Archie. I'm really enjoying seeing what you're creating with needle felting, you're very talented at it.
