Poorly peepers!

Just a quick drop in to say I haven't been around as I've had the flu (despite flu jab) and it kept me in bed for a week very poorly, and running alongside conjunctivitis. My poor peepers are very swollen and my sight has been affected so I can't spend time enjoying reading your lovely blogs... and I haven't picked up a crochet hook for a fortnight!

Hopefully back soon, just need to get my vision back and find that Christmas spirit that's run off somewhere... groan...

Keep warm
Take care

  1. Hope you get well soon, Cheryl! Gotta get well before Christmas! And no crocheting for two weeks? Horrors!

  2. Hope you feel better soon. I've had a run of illness lately too, a cold to start, followed by conjunctivitis, and I'm still suffering from a chest infection which I've now had for over a week. I'm thoroughly fed up, so you must be too. Let's hope we're both well over Christmas.

  7. Oh how awful for you. I hope you get well soon and the peepers get well faster. Being sick is bad enough but when you can see to crochet, oh my! Get well wishes and hugs heading your way.

  15. that blasted jab has a lot to answer for, I had it and felt awful afterwards as did my mum. Hope you feel better soon - I suppose one good point is that it is the 'quiet time' between Christmas and new Year so you can relax!
Best wishes for 2013 to you and yours
